Redemption

Why does it always rain on me? Is it because I lied when I was 17?

Cryptographic Keys

key

I love communicating things – within a safer framework. With many communications taking place over Internet and mediated by technology, I intend to adopt the best of the both worlds.

I usually encrypt, decrypt, cryptographically sign, and verify others’ signatures on messages to and from other users using gnuPG/PGP. One of my favourite passtime was Cryptography when I had been stationed elsewhere than cities. If you’re curious, cryptography is the science of using mathematics to encrypt and decrypt data. Cryptography enables you to store sensitive information or transmit it across insecure networks (like the Internet) so that it cannot be read by anyone except the intended recipient.

My public key is posted for your convenience, and here is what its fingerprint data should look like:

pub  1024D/9954E658 2008-11-06
Key fingerprint = 1D41 F47D 577A F7FB 426B  C09A 351B 0B6E 9954 E658
uid               Raqueeb Hassan, Rakibul Hassan, keyID 'E53654C9'
uid               Google "Raqueeb Hassan" wideangle (a) gmail.com
sub  2048g/88EC34EB 2008-11-06
sub  1024D/5B1C5766 2008-11-06

Alternatively, you can always get that from keyservers like pgp.mit.edu or keyserver.mine.nu with keywords “raqueeb”. My expired keys are listed here too. Please discard if you have signed way back then!

CAcert.org and Thawte mail client certificates [X.509 (S/MIME) signature] are also available upon request.

Help building a safer world!
